Dr. Patel believes great dentistry starts with listening. She founded White Rose Dentistry to create a calm, welcoming dental home in York — where every patient is treated like family, every question gets a real answer and no one ever feels rushed.

Get to Know Dr. Patel
Born and raised in Savannah, Georgia, Dr. Patel grew up with a deep appreciation for Southern hospitality, something you’ll feel the moment you walk into White Rose Dentistry. She earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine from the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) in Charleston before making the Carolinas her permanent home. Today she lives in the Rock Hill–Fort Mill area with her husband and their two young children, a daughter and a son. When she’s not at the office, you’ll find her chasing her little ones around, gardening with her kids or planning the family’s next trip.
Meet Your Dentist
Dentist, White Rose Dentistry
Dr. Laura Bernitsky grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico, and first fell in love with the Carolinas as a biology student at High Point University. After earning her Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Missouri–Kansas City, she and her husband chose the Charlotte area as their permanent home.
Her mission is simple: give every patient the care and attention they deserve. She pairs current clinical techniques and technology with a gentle, patient chairside manner, so each visit feels as comfortable as it is thorough.
Outside the office, you’ll find her hiking Crowders Mountain, taking long walks around Lake Wylie with her husband and their dog, or discovering a new local restaurant.
